Designing Nicky Ree, has her Precious Collection of gowns, in a wide array of styles and colors. Betty Doyle, Ingenue, is all ready for a trip to Hawaii with her Polynesian Princess dress.I’m a pushover for Nyte Caligari’s, Nyte’N'Day, layered tanks with silly sayings, along with her babydoll tops and capris.
Garbage Prototype, Random Fashions, has a youtube teaser for you with over 200 new items coming Tuesday. Starley Thereian, Celestial Studios, has a range of new clothing for your selection. A fool and his money are soon parted, and I’m partin’ with some of mine at Onyx LeShelle’s, Maitreya. Wait til you see her Mishima Dawn Ankle Boots in 25 choices!

Kazue Voom, Muism, has more handbags than you’ll ever use, but you’ll want them all. And I fell in love with Wisp Jinn’s, Wishbox, Twilight Gown .
Raven Pennyfeather, House of Rfyre, has the very striking Avril, a metallic sheen pants outfit. If you liked her Puma Jie outfit as much as I did, you’ll be glad to know Miko Omegamu, Icing, did the blouse in more colors. Here is her lovely new gown, Platinum Mist to fool your pocketbook:

Bettiepage Voyager, BP, fooled with hair this week and has 3 darling braided/bangs dos. Mcgeeb Gupte, Jolie Femme, has a nice parted in the middle waist length hairstyle that’s unusual. Mine is in rl, and rare to find it here. Sachi vixen, Adam n Eve, fooled around this week with some Drow skins, but did them in several skin tones, too.

The only thing better than slipping into fabulous virtual clothes is slipping out of them and frolicking like a nymph with squee-tastic accessories.

These are the Spring Flowers sets from Sherona DeGroot of Innovations. They are over 280 prims of absolutely breathtaking wearable artistry. I love the way the foxgloves dangle from the bouquet and crown. Every flower is exquisitely textured. And whether it’s the goth-tastic black and red that catches your fancy, or one of the more traditionally colored sets, they’re sure to inspire. Granted, you may prefer to use them in weddings, but I maintain that running about a la Goddess of Spring in them is much more fun.
Did I mention that Innovations is having a 50%+ off sale on their gowns and silks this weekend only? *makes not attempt to hide completely evil grin*

So long as you’re heading out to the sale anyway, do not miss the Hermosa gown. It’s lush and lavish and, let’s face, it, one more floor-length gown won’t hurt anything. The textures are delish and the skirt shape boasts both a smooth hem and a flirty movement about the hips that compliments walking and standing animations that can otherwise make flex prims go all wonky.

Also not to be missed is the Aristicrat outfit (not sure if it’s an intentional or accidental misspell of Aristocrat, but with this much nummy detail, who cares about grammar). The jacket is accented with prim tail and cuffs and works surprisingly well with both the high-waisted pants (shown) and high-waisted cuffed shorts (not shown). The buttons on the pants and undershirt are applied with a natural hand-drawn look that makes them appear to move with the fabric textures. Likewise, the collar and lapels on the brocade jacket and silk blouse lend to the layered harmony of the entire ensemble.

There are also quite a few faboo hairstyles in the store, including this Stella design that I donned for a rare glimpse of blonde Salome. The little curls at the hairline are charming and the curly French twist of the back of the style makes for a fun, elegant updo.
If there is any disappointment with the Innovations items, it lies in their lack of versatility. Most of the pieces are on a single no-mod layer, offering only one or two options for wear and no opportunity for mixing and matching. The silk blouse of the Aristicrat, for example, is absolutely lovely and I would have greatly relished the option to wear it casually without the jacket. There was also an eye-catching set of a la carte corsets at the store, but being as they were shirt-layer only, I wasn’t motivated to buy or blog them. Considering that DeGroot’s quality and pricing puts her at the upper tier of SL designer clothing, I do hope that her future releases will update with the demands of the SL shopper.
That said, what you see is what you get and that includes rich, delicious textures, elegant styles with sophisticated flare, and delightful prim details.

I ask you! Why? Why? WHY…did I choose that for a title? Was that rhetorical? I don’t even know. So, all you readers out there (and you know who you are), today we take a look at a lovely find called Y7 by Yenta Semyorka. Now you see why? Yes, of course you do. (just play along with a courtesy chuckle, ok? kthanks)
I came across Y7 rather randomly one day, and have been a fan ever since. This is a somewhat unique place, for which I have a bit of a love/hate relationship. The clothes are very nicely done. Nearly everything is offered as a separate. Take the below outfit. The tank and skirt were in separate packs.

This is lovely work. The tank looks soft and comfy. It’s got a little punky flavor to it with it’s alert symbols and “No One Cares” printed on the front. The skirt is great. I love the textures from the printed belt to the pattern on the skirt itself. In the photo I’ve worn the lace version, which has a second skirt layer underneath that’s…wait for it…lacy. It comes without the lace as well, if it’s not your thing.

Here we have a great little hoodie set. This pack comes with three hoodie varieties. In the photo I’ve worn two of the options. One has the kittie on the front. The other has the “Marine Pollutant” sign on the back. The texture on this is really amazing, though my one complaint is that the hoodie itself could use a little work. It’s not horrible, but it’s a little too simple for my liking. Still, it works.
The pants also are from a Y7 set. The pants come on both the pants and underpants layers, so I can wear them tucked in, which I adore. The texture work is incredible with the fading, patterns, and a little fanny shading.

This outfit are all pieces from the Y7 Vagrant line. The top, skirt, and attachments are all from separate packs. There are a few other packs in the Vagrant line, such as pants and leather attachments, but what you see suited me just fine. Again, you just gotta love the grungy yumminess. Yes, I said ‘grungy yumminess’! And you still gotta love it!
Okay, this is where we come back to that part where I said I have a love/hate relationship.

Spring is officially here, everyone, so it’s high time you spring to action, store away the winter things, and get yourself some new duds. There’s a lot to feast your eyes on this week, so hop to it!
Alienbear Gupte, BijouxOr Jewelry, welcomes spring with her lovely Oriental Spring - Dewdrop Jewelry Set. If you liked her Francoise Flats, you’ll hop all over Fallingwater Cellardoor’s, Shiny Things, special RFL edition, retextured in a terrific pattern.
Your hair will spring to life with the new season, and Bryce Tully, Bryce Designs, has Rockstar, a cutie/messy short do for ladies. Tuli Asturias pulled a rabbit out of her hat with several great outfits, but her Relay for Life outfit is special, and comes with a lariat necklace made by Caliah Lyon of Muse Jewelry.

Spring can still be chilly, especially if you live in the NE like I do, so Sachi Vixen, Adam n Eve, made us 2 cozy jackets, one fur, one leather, to help with that. For nicer weather, Neferia Abel, Ivalde, has a great double-breasted coatdress in her Relay for Life vendors.
Abby Coalcliff, Devilish Cupcake, has separates breeding like rabbits. Only a hop, skip and a jump away, Rose Farina, Rose Petal Creations, has her Waltz Gown Collection, and a very swingy salsa dress. I need to know who to hop into bed with to get one of Maria Gherardi’s, MG Fashions, Eva tunics, pictured below. she’s also got some cute denim skirts and a silk body suit.

Caroline Apollo, Caroline’s Jewelry, has her Long Pastel Links Necklace in gold, and my only problem is it doesn’t come in silver. I love it. Camilla Yosuke, Insolence, has me hopping up and down over her new April Sandals, high heeled wonders that let you bare your feet and wiggle your toes after months of boots. And Tesla Miles, did her classic Vixens pumps in snakeskin and animal fur finishes. (But not rabbit.)
Miku Omegamu, Icing, got me so hopped up when I saw her Girl Friday outfit. It’s prim ruffles and pencil skirt are to die for. You must see Wisp Jinn’s, Wishbox, Mix n Match Gypsy collection for yourself. It’s got so many combos to choose from, and all are just lovely. Betty Doyle, Ingenue, has a knockout 50’s cocktail dress, Begin the Beguine, and the Armidi family of designers has a huge Spring Collection for view.
No Spring chicken, and
