I have two confessions to make. First: until yesterday, I owned not one single piece of clothing from Dazzle Haute Couture. But since Celebrity Trollop and our own Charlotte can’t seem to get enough of Ginny Talamasca’s designs, I suspected I was missing something really good here, and promised myself I would remedy that.
Second: I am a complete and total hat whore. (I like funerals and day time weddings because I get to wear hats. And I love Ascot because I get to wear a really big hat.) So the minute I walked into Dazzle and saw this killer dress complete with hat, I was all over it like white on rice:

Doesn’t this dress just make you want to sip Pimms on a lush green lawn with a titled aristocrat on your arm? Its the excellent Audrey dress, very indicative of Ginny’s work - lots of prim clothing (and not just for formals!), very fine hem detailing, and an arsenal of lace that would make an Italian widow weep with envy. I am offically joining the throngs of fans who adore this dress, with or without the hat - although obviously I’m keen on the “with” version.
Although Dazzle is best know for its dressy dresses and primwear, for everyday outfits, I can’t be bothered with the fussiness of prims. Luckily Dazzle also makes some finely crafted casulas that live up the name, in riots of colour and lashes of style.

Although they are hard to see here, I would just like to make a public service announcement and say: these are the best pinstripe trousers I’ve found in all of Second Life, bar none. They rival the Armani pair stashed in my RL closet - they’re that good. They’re from a set called Nana, which comes with a silver chain link belt and half a dozen coordinating tops in various muted jewel tones so you can mix and match to suit any mood. This is indeed couture casual wear.
Although she doesn’t do a lot in the lingerie and bathing suits department, the pieces few pieces she does do are extra good. Take, for example, this slinky Minx bikini:

I’m breaking my “absolutely no thong bathing costumes” rule to show you the back, because this bathing suit is enough to make a grown man cry. Hell, I’m a grown woman and I’m sitting here lusting after my own avatar. It comes with a string wrap, but there’s abosolutely nothing here I want to cover up.
Where to Buy:
DAZZLE Haute Couture
Audrey Dress & Hat: $250L
Nana Pants, Belt, and Six Shirts: $275L
Innamoramento (122, 187, 32)
Minx Bikini with wrap: $200L

Dazzle Clothes are like Potato Chips….you can’t just have one! Wewtwewt Ginny!

Mmm. Pass the Dazzle kool aid! I can’t get enough. Noticed that you’re still wearing Jackal Ennui’s mules! They are so sweet.

That dress looks divine on you.
*swoons for the lace detail*
Everything Ms. Talamasca puts on the market is scrumptious.
My favorite aspect? It’s all so classy.
Her designs can take my tarty avatar and turn her into a Lady.

Dazzle is currently closed and not re-opening until February, so you can’t TP there. The sim is closed.
