OK I have to admit that prior to the release of 1.10 I was not a fan of the notion of flexiprims on clothes. I was pretty sure we were going to see really overdone, Marilyn Monroe skirt-flying-over-head clothing all over the place and I was going to spend the next six months bitching about this in the blog. But I have now tried some of the first relases of flexiprim clothes and hair and I am all over them like white on rice, baby.
The first flexiprim dress I saw was this fantastic Doll Baby dress from Lollypop Extraordinaire at Extraordinaire.

If this dress never moved a milimetre in its life, I would still happily move into it and never take it off. It is adorable, but my God when it ripples when you walk and sways when you turn, it is the sexiest alignment of prims I’ve ever seen.
Ginny Talamasca at Dazzle is also playing with flexipims, though she’s experimenting with them for jewellery at the moment. Above, I’m wearing the Chained Earrings Freebies, and they flutter very slightly when you move. When you zoom in you can see that different lengths of chain are set to move with slightly different physics, so the shorter (ie, in real life, lighter) chains move just a little bit more. Too cool. They are free free free and fun fun fun and they happen to go beautifully with the bracelet from the Arro Deconstruit jewellery set also at Dazzle.
A dress with a bit more woosh is the Flex Red dress from Ciera Bergman at Vitamin Ci. First of all I have to say that I love this dress - the cut of the top and the two-layer prims on the skirt are so elegant and the tea length is absolutely charming and perfect:

It also looks great with the necklace from the Deconstruit set mentioned above. But again, when you shift position or walk, it just flows and it is so delightful to wear. And when you stand stand up jump or land… woosh!

OK wait I lied… Ginny has come out with her first flexiprim clothes, begining with this just-this-minute released Ysandre dress which I’m wearing in Moss. The scarf is fabulously fluttery:

I’m wearing it with the also just-this-second released Minx hair from Here Comes Trouble, which is sexy and rumpled and just plain naughty. It also flows like the wind when you move, especially when you dance:

Between the dresses and the jewellery and the scarf and the hair, I’m dying of delight over here. You know, normally I detest upgrades because they’re pretty much Which Hardware Will You Need to Buy Today? days, but I have to say, this one completely and totally fucking rocks my world.
Lights. Moving clothes. Flapping accessories. Fluttering hair. Bliss. Bliss. Bliss.

Sabrina, I know you’re perfectly aware how stunning the right green hued outfit looks on a redhead, but yowza, you look so fabulous in Ginny’s newness. That color with your hair is superfabulous!
(And I see you’re still wearing Gala’s skin. :D)

Why thank you, Ms Trollop
Thank you very much!
All these flixiprim clothes as so wonderful; I can’t get enough of them. And the Gala thing… yes, but you know how the early stages of a new relationship are. Right now we just need to be left alone in a room. With room service.

[…] The other day when I dive-bombed Extraordinaire to pick up the new flexiprim Doll Baby dress, I saw stuff I knew I’d have to go back for. Lolly is known for her casuals and dresses, but she’s putting out some of the most imaginative, creative and sassiest costumes in town. […]
