In a previous entry, I mentioned that there was only one set of eyes I liked in SL. They were L$750 for a set of 8 (With 2 reflections styles) and not for sale individually. They were also trans/no copy unlike nearly everything else in the store which is stupid because eyes are one of those things we actually like to make outfits with. But I was trapped. They were the best eyes in SL.
UNTIL NOW.
Eeron Kilian is, officially, my new hero and his store, E’s - Handpainted Fantasy Eyes, is where I am now sending all my newbie friends for their eyes. I fell head-over-heels in love with the Chestnut Brown Babydoll eyes:
But, if I were fickle with my eye color, I could just as easily fall for the vibrant and luscious colors of some of his other selections.
These blues are to drool for and the reflection effect is unsurpassed anywhere else I’ve seen — and I’ve bought A LOT of eyes over my SL time.
Sabrina says that she finds the pupils to be a bit large, but that was the only nit-pick we could find after 20 minutes of squealing over the different colors and quality. I prefer the larger pupils, so it’s a preference thing.
It’s worth noting that the color assortments here are provided in both realistic and fantasy colors. So blue, green, gray, brown, are well represented amid the purples, pinks, etc.
The “off the wall” permissions are trans/no copy which isn’t ideal for those of us who use our eyes to make outfits. When I spoke with Eeron he said he was in the process of adding copy/no trans options to the store and that anyone can IM him for those versions in the meantime. Let’s hear it for a vendor that gives his shoppers the options they want and need! Yay!
In addition to the babydoll eyes which I’ve gone nuts and shown many of above, there are also two other “Fantasy” varieties of eyes. The “Bagheera” which are very cat/snake like in appearance, although they also have stunningly vibrant colors:
And the “Elethir” style of eyes which are straight out of Anne Rice novels. If you’re RPing a vamp, fairy, or elf character and you don’t have a pair of these, then you are missing out. Just look at these in teal! Nummy!
I know it freaks many of you out when I do entries without my glasses. It’s just so much easier to see the eyes. And don’t worry. I’m not going vamp with the eyes. I’m happy as a clam with my Chestnut Brown Babydolls and my glasses.
Honest.
Although…violet eyes are just so pretty…

I would wear blue, brown doesn’t make your eyes stand out as much with the brown hair. Bit too monotoned IMO.
