To a Tee

Filed under: Accessories, Bargains/Freebies, Clothing, Men, Tops — Sabrina Doolittle @ 10:29 am

Ask and youshall recieve should be my mantra for 2007. Following our Christmas Bitch Wish List, I’ve had a few inventory dumps of socks and t-shirts in particular, but the items from Laynie Link at LaynieWear are so far my faves.

These oh-so-rare plain v-neck t-shirts are nice. They are actually crafted and done with a good jersey texture and excellent transparencies, as opposed to just made with the sliders. There are little details like trim ridge around the neckline and cuffs. There’s also some nice wrinkly detail that perfectly matches across the seams, which is lovely to see:

They come in a really brilliant array of 20 colours including browns, true deeps and pastels. Each tee that you buy comes with two versions, too - a standard tee, and a nipple version for those chilly SL evenings. For $25L, they are hard to beat, and it would be nice to see a fat pack option with all of them for say $350L.

And the socks! Textured cashmere socks in 48 colours for just 15L per pair! They are all super-cute knee-highs with ribbing across the top, and they come in everything from neon green to the softest baby blue, with about 9,000 varieties of boy-friendly blacks, greys and browns in between. I would totally buy fatpacks of these in a heartbeat.

The selection at LaynieWear is small, but among the items is a corset set that is a godsend to thong-haters everywhere:

Yes campers, it is a corset with boy pants. Praise be to God. It also comes with a really nice V and scallop thong in the set if you just cannot resist the urge to show off your arse (I so can.) It comes in six jewel tones all from the same lovely brocade pattern, and while its not as elborately textured as some of the top end corsets, for the quality is an absolute bargain at $50L.

Bring on the fatpacks, please!

Where to Buy:

V-Neck Ts: $25L
Socks: $15L

  1. Who made those jeans in the first picture? I am quite the sucker for distressed jeans…

  2. They are old, old Here Comes Trouble but I’m pretty sure she still stocks them. They may well be men’s jeans - I buy a lot of those in a quest to not end up with a flower or a kitty or a ducky on my ass.

  3. Thanks for the great review!! *scurries off to make plunge tees and sock fatpacks, since the t-shirt fatpack is up*
