Somehow I was not surprised to read over on Appearance Mode that pleas for women’s professional attire is one of the most frequent call-outs in the Fashion Emergency group. The pickings are pretty slim, which is why I was delighted to find the brand new Business Suit from Adam N Eve:

Sachi Vixen insists that when you add the skirt prim, this makes the outfit into the “dress” version, but I insist that this is instead the most fabulous skirt suit ever. I absolutely adore the charming belt and the shape of the perfect, classy, stylish knee-length skirt. It is business perfection and someone better hurry up and invite me to a meeting.
While you can wear it without the prims as a mini skirt, I would encourage you not to, as the skirt is really way too short to be worn on its own as business attire unless your business encompasses strolling past street corners. Having said that, it also comes with a white blouse which I refuse to wear because I am all about the plunging necklines. Apparently my inner harlot is conflicted about her career decisions, because I’m just wearing the jacket with a bra.
As if the skirt is not glory enough, it also comes with trousers:

That makes this one gorgeously versetile outfit with a number of looks all in one package. I did have to mod the trousers as I prefer a wider leg, but they come with a fairly straight fit. (Pants Fit: 65 is your friend, however.)
If you are not a fan of the buttoned up business blue, you’ll be thrilled to know that the suit comes in six colours. While I’m down with the theory that by golly, yes, women should be able to buy suits in brown, I’m not planning to, you know, wear one or anything. But your other options are grey, moss green, red and purple, so you’re sure to find the perfect compliment to your buisness wardrobe.
Speaking of complimentary items, the shoes are the classic Lady Slingbacks from Shiny Things, my shoe crack dealer of choice. They also come in a medly of colours, all of which happen to coordinate with the suit. While the total expenditure for the suit and the shoes may not be cheap, it is perfectly coordinated and oh-so-flexible, so for the business women of SL, I’m calling this a sound fiscal decision.
Where to Buy:
Adam N Eve
Business Suit: $300L
Genesis (160, 152, 44)
Shiny Things
Lady Slingbacks: $300L
Shiny Falls (171, 182, 37)
Skin: Tete a Pied. Necklace: Raven’s Creations. Hair: HCT. Glasses: Nea-Ban.

Pretty!
That’s the perfect hair (i’ve been so tempted to buy it but I can never remember the style name and can’t find it)), perfect skin (TaP makes one look like a “lady”) the perfect pearls (yep I own them too)m the perfect glasses, and the perfect shoes for that suit
Yes Yes, I’m going to buy it., probably the black one.
I’ll probably wear it without the blouse too, but I have a nice white v-neck blouse and black bustier that should go well If you need a briefcase check “Odds & Ends”

I just picked up the gray and dark red versions of this today, and I have to agree that the supplied system skirt is too short to be used for anything serious. (example image here) The skirt is moddable, but the texture doesn’t go any lower, so there’s no way to make it longer.
For fun stuff the miniskirt is OK, I suppose, but I doubt I’d conduct any actual business in it.

I like my skirts that short
but mostly the mini was intended as a long jacket option. I just like wearing it as a skirt but it’s shortness is why the prim skirt and glitch shorts were provided with it, to privide a knee length skirt when worn together. I think it is fairly clear in the ad shot where I am wearing it as a skirt that it is very short and some people do like that.
Professional Plaid, my release today, has a much longer skirt for variety as different people like different things, so if you want to exchange one of yours Sean let me know and we’ll work something out. I was having a rare transfer moment with these so it is possible although Professional Plaid is larger package and a little more expensive.

No worries, Sachi. I do like the outfit overall! I like wearing skirts that short too, sometimes — just not all the time.
Variety is fine with me! The new outfit looks good too. I’ll probably be getting that as well!

[…] Sachi Vixen from Adam n Eve is on a pro style flow. Yesterday Sabrina over at Linden Lifestyles blogged a cute looking business outfit from Sachi (http://lindenlifestyles.com/?p=351) and to my pleasant surprise, not long after reading that Sachi dropped me another perfect office outfit. Sometimes you see something that makes you want to drop everything you are busy with and go after it… well…. this is it. As soon as I saw the picture on the box, I rushed over to my modelling table and shot some pics. […]

Opium Everyday also has an awesome suit set going at a special offer at the moment. It’s a black/turquoise number - I’m rather taken with it!

It was my first visit to Adam N Eve and I was… Absolutely Flabbergasted! I bought the dark red business suit, because I needed one, but I was drooling at all the other stuff they have in there. I could not leave without buying a flaming red harem suit as well.
This time I have only visited this one floor, but I’ll be back at Adam N Eve’s!

I guess I’m a little late with my question, but I’ve only just discovered this site. I really love those glasses; does anybody know where I can get them? Thanks!

Hi Ulrike - It says at the bottom of the entry
They are my very favourite glasses, from Nea-Ban. They are called Retro.
