Just a reminder to all you dedicated philanthropists: today is Bandana Day!
Today is the day when we ditch our hair, buy a bandana for $50L, and show our support for the Locks of Love fundraising effort organised through the Hair Fair.
I promise that if you bump into me today, you will see me out and about, rockin’ my bandana until midnight game time. Please pop into the Hair Fair to buy your choice of one (or more!) of dozens of fabulous bandanas created by some of SL’s best designers. You can only get them until the end of today, so get while the getting is good!
All proceeds go to benefit Locks of Love, a non-profit organization that provides wigs to children suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. It’s a great charity, and a great match for the team at this year’s Hair Fair!
Upload your snapshots of you and your friends workin’ your fine bandana style to the Linden Lifestyles Flickr group, and Linden Lifestyles will pick the best photo and make a $2,000L donation to Locks of Love in your name and find a way to put your name in lights and give you a bunch of free, cool stuff .

Cyn, well, you know that whole bandana thing just makes me think of Rambo and the military look and commando forces and… and, well, it was really late and I really needed a title!
Going the *traditional* type of commando would be a really interesting charity event, though. Although I can’t imagine who we might be raising money for. Strippers in Need?

I was a bit disappointed, while I was at Hair Fair earlier this evening, it was just full of bitching (sorry!) fashion victims all with hair…no one except me with a bandana, and all were just bitching about how rubbish the freebies were. NOT the spirit I expected…

I took a picture and uploaded it to flickr but I don’t think it’s in the group, I went to the link for how to add it to the group but is has an error “Sorry, no posts matched your criteria.” when I click the link. Help? lol
