Raindrop Showers and May Flowers

Filed under: Dresses, Shoes — Salome Strangelove @ 1:14 pm

Raindrop Drinkwater of A2NZ recently spoiled me with a review folder full of her delightful “Emily’s Flowers” dresses.

“Emily’s Flowers” comes in five baisc colors, plus there is a white version that is only available when you purchase the Rainbow pack. Each dress can be worn with the included standard mesh skirt or with the flexi skirt/glitch pants combo (pictured). I love all the colors, but the black and white just feels so gloriously vintage 50’s tropical chic. The dress is mod/copy so you can tinker with the prim skirt to fit, although it worked for my shape out of box. The textures are very sleek, and I adore the lace along the hem of the bell-shaped skirt. I did notice that with certain light settings the textures on the prim skirt can overlap a bit to form an odd effect, but it plays off as folds in fabric and, let’s face it, if anyone’s looking that hard at your ass they’d better not be thinking about your dress.

Just to prove that there is fashion kismet, the same day I stumbled on Raindrop’s review folder in my inventory, I also found these Daisy Mules at House of Nyla. They are a little pricier than the average SL designer shoe (they run L$500 a pop) but you’ve got to admit they are fabulously adorable.

...but if you're looking for an item in an old entry or a store that has moved, please IM the designer if you can't find it. We probably can't find it either!
