It is a happy day when Salome or I discovers a new shop or designer, and today was a happy day thanks to Abby Coalcliff of Devilish Cupcake. She’s gotten some good exposure recently, but I hadn’t had time to check out her wares before today, and boy am I impressed. This is the Celest outfit, which comes in 9 different colours, or all together in a fatpack:

It’s a tank and shorts, and can be worn with or without the babydoll and cuff prims. I’m still undecided as to how I feel about the fancy-shmancy top with casual shorts thing (damn these kids and their new-fangled fashions!) but what I am very sure of is that I love both of these pieces and the quality is outstanding. The textures are gorgeous, the colours are stunning, and the shading and detail work is excellent. There are a couple of issues with edges and transparencies, but they are very very small issues and nothing you notice unless you’re zoomed into your own belly button.
It’s the same delicious texturing with the Preppy set, a plunging top with matching or contrasting trim and an optional undershirt:

I’m sure that if you have not been awake for 20 hours, you can probably ditch the undershirt, locate all kinds of fab and frivolous long necklaces, and rock the socks off your own rack, but I am way, way too tired for such fashion adventures at the moment. May the force be with you - go forth and accesorise.
Finally, if you’re looking for a bargain, Devilish Cupcake’s early efforts are represented by some $1L items and $50L outfit with several bottom options, so while the selection is still small, what’s there is great and what’s slightly less than great is really, really cheap!

The adorable shoes are sadly not yet for sale - they are lingering in a certain shoe-makers inventory because she thinks they are not quite perfect enough. But they are! And we need a petition!
