Licensed to Latex

Filed under: Clothing, Costume — Sabrina Doolittle @ 11:31 pm

You know how sometimes you see something, admire it and just keep walking? And how other times, you see something, admire it, and just have to have it even though, practically speaking, you’re probably never going to wear it? Well, when I saw these so totally cool latex cat suits from Adrina Welders at AW Designs, I crumpled like a wet tissue and absolutely, positively had to have them right now:

They are just so. damn. sexy. And so well made! I’m not normally a huge fan of latex, but the texture work on these is just knock-your-socks-off amazing. There are even little bum and knee wrinkles! Not to mention highlights in all the right places, including said bum.

They come in eight colours, from black to an amazing steel blue and one of the nicest pinks I’ve ever seen. My favourite however, is this one:

It’s the nifty Union Jack version, and I just love fun stuff like this. Mind, I have no idea where I’m ever going to wear these, but on the other hand, I’m perfectly content to stay home and admire my own arse.

  1. Damn you Linden Lifestyles… I spent half of the night looking for decent latex items and wasted (ahem) a good stack of L$ buying mediocre items - then Sabrina blogs a perfect, gorgeous latex catsuity type thing!

  2. Yes, I really am psychic. Muhahahaha!

Anyway, I know these are quite spendy but you are so right - there is a TON of crappy latex out there and I think these are pretty outstanding. So I suppose buying one for a pretty fair whack is still better (and cheaper) than buying a few and being disappointed in them.

  3. Sabrina, the Union Jack one would’ve made a good super hero, too!

    …And I keep staring at your bum….ahem…

  4. SO cute! I don’t need this either, and I’m totally going to buy it. *Shakes her fist* Trying not to shop is futile. :)

  6. Well done..but how come most of those suits don’t have a decent collar?

  7. I don’t know. It would be better if the top of the neck were a finished transparency - same for the feet and wrists, because it would make the gloves and socks more optional. It looks OK without those pieces now as long as you’re not zoomed way in. The neck does however align, and there are no ugly half-trans, system cut lines at the top of system necks, so I didn’t worry about it.

  8. Neck: A sexy-shaped plunge neck would also look great with these. Latex isn’t my thing, but these are fun.
