*drool drool drool*

I’ve been wandering around the grid in the Satine dress suit from StarSong for days now, and I can’t decide if it makes me feel more like some high profile trust fund brat trying to circumvent the paparazzi or a film noir heroine destined to smuggle microfilm in some very unladylike place. Either way, I’ve been having oodles of fun insisting my friends call me Natasha while I make campy comments about moose and squirrel.
It’s safe to say, they’re all ready for me to move on to my next dress-up phase.
Although it also comes in red, I’m obviously in favor of Satine in black with silver accents. It’s a simple top and system skirt pairing with a bell-shaped flex skirt that isn’t shown here because I prefer the cute little flexi sash that is attached to the same slot.

The beret (which goes so perfect with this outfit it’s a sin) is from from Maria Gherardi of MG Fashion and isn’t for sale…yet. She gave them out as gifts last September to her update group members and I’ve been waiting to see if she’d add them to her store. So far no-go, but I feel if enough of you IM her to beg for these sculpty gems, she may have a change of heart. I get compliments on this hat everywhere I go and there is a string of broken hearted bare headed women out there who have all railed at me when I tell them it isn’t available for purchase.
The diva-delish JetGloss glasses are from Suite17 and are some of the best low-prim textured glasses I’ve ever seen (four prims! four!). Each pair come with six different style and tint touch-script options so that you can be incognito in any outfit. Well, almost incognito. The big honkin’ names floating over our heads do have a tendency to give us away.

Completing the outfit are the Milano boots from Kitties Lair. I love how sophisticated shoes are getting these days with the help of sculpted prims (I’m on the fence about many other uses for sculpties, but I’m keeping the hair and boots in the plus column). These boots look way better on my friends who take the time to fit them properly - because they *DO* require fiddling. I messed with them for about 5 minutes before deciding they were good enough for me to hunt moose and squirrel. Those with more patience or skill at fitting items to their shapes will get a much better result, so please mind that when you look at my photos. Be warned, they do have that horrible sound feature - (a fad that can’t die fast enough as far as I’m concerned) but it’s pretty easy to disable if you’re used to that.

Salome love the whole ensemble, looks stunning on you. Especially adore the boots, but like yourself I cannot be bothered with the fiffing and faffing to make stuff fit properly. My fave boots are the divine ‘Plain Riding’ that I got from Last Call, and they aren’t a perfect fit at all..but my excuse is that I actually am a wee bit timid about changing stuff, especially footwear, in case I mess up. Any places where I can find tips would be greatfully received!
